The Eighth Chakra
The Eight Chakra known as the Soul Star is located six inches to two
feet above the top of the head. Viewed from the third eye it looks a ball
of light with an orange glow that hovers above the seventh (crown) chakra.
The size, brightness and closeness to the body of this chakra varies depending
on how strongly we are linked with our soul.
Activating the soul star can help us to strengthen our connection with
our soul. Focused awareness of this chakra enables our soul to fulfill
its purpose for this lifetime. Even if we may not consciously be aware
of what our soul’s plan may be, working with the Soul Star will
assist in our soul’s plan and will usually bring us closer to conscious
awareness of what this plan is.
It’s important to nourish the soul each day by acknowledging our
power as light beings. We temporarily dis-empower ourselves when we harbor
feelings of lack and limitation, thus limiting communication with our
soul. Nurturing our soul through awareness of our power increases it.
Many times a crisis may arise in our lives when we have ignored our
soul’s calling and presence , it often stops us long enough to go
more deeply into those things that truly matter. Our soul is concerned
with our spiritual life and though we live on the planet and need to provide
for ourselves, when we lose ourselves in materialistic concerns we abandon
our soul’s presence. A crisis may help us to reestablish connection,
once we realize this and continue that connection, crisis as a means of
recognition falls away.
There are several methods of merging more closely with the soul while
in physical form, meditation, angel invocations and attunements and energy
work are some extremely valuable methods to assist us in this. For example
using meditation, we can more closely align the body with the soul by
visualizing a bridge of light sometimes called the rainbow bridge connecting
the two. This bridge allows the soul consciousness to bring light into
the body and personality. This is what Ascension really is, the merging
of the soul with the personality while in the physical.
We come here to experience, to express as individuals, as ideas in the
mind of God. The soul’s main concern is that we remember who we
are after coming through the veil of forgetfulness. An actor auditions
for a part in a play knowing that he will really enjoy playing a particular
role. The role may be intense, it may call for high drama as well as joy
but the experience of playing all aspects of the part excites him.
The high drama and sorrowful aspects of the characterization are balanced
by the actor’s knowledge that it is a part, it is not who he/she
truly is. Though the actor is fully engrossed in the performance he remembers
his identity. Though it is said he becomes the role, though he may win
an Oscar, he never forgets who he truly is. We must never forget our true
identity as a soul. Working in our own most comfortable way with the Soul
Star assures that we will remember.
